The well-known yoga symbol “OM” is the mantra of absolute, or unification. OM is the primordial sound, the vibration from which the entire universe has arisen. Its name symbolizes the past, present and future (birth, life and death). When singing this mantra, the proximity and interconnection of the singing (reciting) individuality with the wholeness of the universe is felt. Everything is a whole that cannot be separated.
